America!

As I mentioned in my last post, we took a family trip to America over Memorial Day.  It was Cali's first trip to America, and Ceci's first trip in nearly a year.  Travelling with two kids, one of whom is now in their own seat on the plane, is quite a change - and a challenge.  Thankfully, flying from London is MUCH simpler than flying from Gibraltar.  So all in all, not too bad (minus the jet lag coming home - oof!)

A week later and we're still fighting the effects of jet lag, though thankfully each day is a little bit better.  Cali is pretty much readjusted but Ceci is still struggling a bit.  Though she's mostly back on schedule bedtimes and nap times are no longer the easy, calm process they were before and during the trip.  Hopefully with time things will settle back down (fingers crossed!).  Next trip we'll definitely be trying the day flight back to the UK!
