One Month To Go!

Today marks one month until my due date!  This pregnancy has gone by so fast - I can't believe November is drawing to a close!  (The fact that the weather here has been lovely - high 60s and sunny - and that Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here, means it really doesn't feel like November!)

Since Ceci was 10 days late I'm trying not to get my hopes up that I'll go into labor on or before my due date, but a small part of me is hopeful I will because I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable. The fatigue and back/hip pain wear on me a bit, though I have my good days and bad days.  Chasing after Ceci certainly doesn't help either - thank goodness for Nursery!

News & Updates!

My, my, my.  Where has the time gone? I'm now 27 weeks pregnant and entering my third trimester - I can't believe I have less than three months until baby #2 is due!  The rest of summer (and most of September) have simply disappeared.  The constant nausea finally subsided a few weeks ago, though the fatigue still comes and go.  And just for fun I'm now struggling with hip pain that's affecting my ability to walk for more than a few minutes and heartburn - both pregnancy issues I dealt with last time but unfortunately they're both worse this time around.  But all-in-all I'm hanging in there!

It's been a while...

I can not believe it's been over 3 months since I've updated!  Oops.  Lots has happened since Ceci's 1st birthday, the biggest of which is that I'm pregnant!  It happened a bit faster than we imagined, but we are overjoyed and incredibly excited!

We got the official news a week after Ceci's 1st birthday.

Our Nap Journey

Our napping situation with Ceci has been anything but simple.  Now that we've finally gotten Ceci to nap in her crib, I wanted to document the journey for myself lest I ever think it just happened on its own or didn't take that long or I can't remember exactly how it all transpired!  And who knows, maybe someone else out there is looking for an 8-step, 7 month long plan to get their baby napping in their crib! Haha.

Ceci has been on so many adventures lately!  Now that she no longer hates the car (I think the long drive to Philly while she was sick helped to speed this along) we are able to venture out a lot more.
